My Bucket list for you to copy

10 years might sound like a long time especially when I’m already planning on being “on the road” during the whole period in one way or another. Travelling to every country in the world, in under a year or just being a nomad for 10 years finding time to study and to save, might be bigger enough challenges as it is. You might be thinking why do I need this bucket list?

Well having a bucket list isn’t actually about challenging myself to see and do all the things, but rather focus me on things I want. The best way to explain this is, I have a structured plan to get me to the goal of getting me to see every country in the world, in under a year but this plan becomes very vague with the travel I plan to do for this. The travel part of this goal is mainly to build a name for myself. I plan to do this via a range of marketing techniques that mainly focus on digital marketing in the forms of YouTube Videos and this website. Having a vague plan like this it easy to get carried away with stuff that works well for your goals but not thinking about yourself.

Its time to think about what I want.

The Funny Backpacker Bucket List

This is my current bucket list, I will add to it

1. Travel to every country
   (This is the main goal, not just a bucket list item. Needed to include it though)
   
2. Have a Guinness world record in travel
   (Planning on being the fastest person around the world but there are others that I want to try)
   
3. Start living nomadically
   ( Want to cross something off this list right away. As even getting to the stage of living nomadic living successful or not is an achievement in itself)
   
4. Travel for more than 3 months without “working” and still have money left
   (Youtube or travel creating is work but more a hobby so I wouldn’t count this)
   
5. Live nomadically for a year
   (yes I want to do it for ten years but the year mark is a point of celebration)
   
6. Travel Eastern Europe via train
   Love to see Eastern Europe and a tour of it would be amazing
   
7. Travel South East Asia
   Thailand, Vietnam and to see Bali again would be incredible
   
8. Road Trip to every state in America with friends
   This is the group trip I’ve always wanted
   
9. Do a Season in a party scene
   I’m talking about working in a bar in Ibiza, a Party Hostel in Mykonos or A rep in Magaluf
   
10. Meet new people and meet up with them in a different country
    this is something you can just plan, But the idea of meeting back up with travellers in a new setting is amazing
    
11. Get a Million Views on Youtube (on a single video)
    When you get to that sort of level the video must be a certain level of quality (Or be that bad)
    
12. Work in England, Scotland, Wales, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
    Because I can, I will. Work and visa are hard work, why not appreciate not worrying about it
    
13. Visit Every City in England
    Home is a wonderful place to travel around, why not explore it.
    
14. Say F it one day, and just leave the country
    Always wanted that freedom, why deal with stress when you can leave it behind.
    
15. Travel for 3 months without a plan
    Travel with the only rule of booking stays for that night only. Wake up then decide your day
    
16. Drink at the source. Guinness –Dublin, Estrella Damm – Barcellona, Jack daniels -Lynchburg, Tennessee, Glenfiddich – Dufftown, Scotland, Corona Beer – Mexico, Arran 10 year- Isle of Arran
    Do they taste better or is it the location?
    
17. Go to A Full Moon Party In Thailand
    When in Rome
    
18. Attend a UK Music festival
    Never been to an “actual” music festival. Been to a lot of free ones but not the big ones.
    
19. Stay in a hostel for under £5 a night
    Not many would have this on their bucket list but its the experience
    
20. Sightsee Iceland
    yes I want to see all the countries but I would love to spend some time in Iceland before
    
21. Go jet skiing with friends
    I’ve done this before and I want to relive it… It was amazing
    
22. Spend a Summer in California
    LA looks amazing, a bit high-end but fun.
    
23. Hike the Whole Pennine Way
    I’ve done part of this but would like to do this all in one go, camping as I go.
    
24. Hike the whole West-Highland Way
    Crianlarich (My 1st nomadic home) is in the middle of the West-Highland way and it would be nice to hike the whole lot, not in one go just in parts (and doesn’t have to be in order)
    
25. Visit all Scottish Counties Councils
    I want to try and do this in the year 2021

26. Travel with a dog
    I would love to get a dog and camper van and travel the world, but the work, and travel life balance currently wouldn’t work with a dog.
    
27. Make £100 a month for 3 months in a row for freelancing or creating online
    This would be a good start to being able to live freely and afford to travel. Making money online is hard. but harder to do it constantly.

I will be added to this list regularly. Also crossing stuff off hopefully as often. I hope to have at least 100 points crossed off by the end of the ten years.
